Parish Lenten Activities
(Thursdays in Lent: February 11 – March 17)
Fr. Rod Damico will lead a Lenten Bible Study on Thursdays during Lent, beginning February 11. The study will explore the readings for the upcoming Sunday, with the main focus being on the Gospel. This will be a great way of preparing for the Sunday Masses each week during this special season of the Church year. Everyone is welcome!
No previous experience with Bible study is necessary and no need to register to attend. Come for any of the sessions or all six – and bring a friend! The morning sessions will be held from 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. in the St. Peter Room (located upstairs in the church) and the evening sessions will take place from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. downstairs in the church in lower level Room 3. Draw closer to Christ this Lent and grow stronger in your faith!
Stations of the Cross
Please take time to join us as we pray the Stations of the Cross in the church at 1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. each Friday during Lent.
Friday Fish Fries
Most Fridays we offer a fish fry at St. Paul. Our Knights will be serving dinner from 5:00 – 7:30 p.m. in Miller Hall. Dine in or “carry out”!
As we approach the season of Lent we have received many requests for information and sites that may provide daily devotionals and/or reflections accessible on-line and through smart phones. You can always use the Web to search for information. However, remember that it will be up to YOU to determine the validity of the sites you find. Some are excellent and can lead to many other sites; but some are very narrow in their understanding of Catholic teachings etc.
Below are some sites that may be of interest to you.
