Diocesan Catholic Youth Conference: Saturday, March 3!
Want to spend a day glorifying God while also having a ton of fun doing it? Then DCYC is for you! The Diocesan Catholic Youth Conference (DCYC) is the official Catholic conference of the Diocese of Columbus for grades 9-12. All high school aged youth within the Diocese are strongly encouraged to participate. Catholic youth may bring their non-Catholic friends to this gathering as well!
The youth conference will include keynote speakers Bishop Frederick F. Campbell, D.D., Ph.D. as well as Dr. Bob Rice. Rice is the father of seven, an internationally known speaker, acclaimed musician, and inspirational professor at Franciscan University of Steubenville. There will also be workshops geared towards high schoolers as well as praise and worship by Station 14, skits, service, prayer, small groups, lunch and dinner, and Holy Mass! This year DCYC will be held at St. Cecilia’s. We really hope that you can come and join us!
Please complete the registration form that can be found here and remit it along with the $50 fee to St. Paul’s Youth Ministry Office by Ash Wednesday, February 14th. Paperwork can also be submitted to the Parish Office or placed in the offertory basket at Mass.
Our LIFE TEEN is for Youth in Grades 9-12
LIFE TEEN is a comprehensive Youth Ministry program intended for Grades 9-12. Leading teens closer to Christ, connecting them to the life of our parish and infusing the surrounding community with the light of Christ is central to LIFE TEEN’s mission and movement. We are called to “go forth and love and serve the Lord and one another.” LIFE TEEN is a complete, comprehensive, and interactive model of religious formation. Grounded in the sacraments, high school youth are introduced to a truly dynamic catechesis that removes the classroom desks and draws them into an interactive learning experience. Keep your eyes on the weekly Sunday bulletin to learn about upcoming events and activities! We are a year round ministry!
St. Paul Youth Ministry High School events are open to all High School students of the parish regardless of what school they attend and students are always encouraged to bring friends.
