Catechism of the Catholic Church

A Study of the Catechism of the Catholic Church

With the renewed faith formation encouraged by the Second Vatican Council, the Church began the process of composing a new catechism.  The Catechism of the Catholic Church was started in 1968 and brought to completion in 1992.  Its purpose is to present ‘an authoritative exposition of the one and perennial apostolic faith’.  This universal Catechism was well received by Catholics around the world.  Master Catechist Mary Koors will lead a study of the Catechism giving parishioners an opportunity to delve more deeply into the truths of our faith.   New participants are welcome!
