Lenten Bible Study

We are excited to offer a Lenten Bible Study this year using the Threshold Bible Study book entitled People of the Passion.  In the book parishioners will encounter people of the passion who participated in some dramatic way in the suffering and death of Jesus including Peter, Pilate and Mary Magdalene as well Simon of Cyrene, the daughters of Jerusalem, and the woman who anointed Jesus.  The book format is ideal for both individual study and group discussion.

The six sessions are designed for reading, reflecting, writing, discussing and praying.  The Lenten Bible Study offers solid scholarship and spiritual depth so that participants can draw on the Church’s living tradition and the Jewish roots of the New Testament.  Catholics will leave with a greater understanding of the Bible.  This is a great study that will take place within the company of new and old friends in our St. Paul’s parish family.

Plan now to enter into a deeper relationship with God through scripture and join others for this Lenten Bible Study from 7:00 – 8:15 p.m. on Wednesday evenings on February 27, March 13, March 20, March 27, April 3 and April 10
