Baptisms

BAPTISM

“Through baptism men and women are incorporated into Christ. They are formed into God’s people, and they obtain forgiveness of all their sins. They are raised from their natural human condition to the dignity of adopted children. They become a new creation through water and the Holy Spirit. Hence they are called, and are indeed, the children of God.”                 Romans 8:15; Galatians 4

Baptisms: Parents wishing to have their child baptized must be registered in the parish and are required to complete a pre-Baptism Workshop. The workshop is held on the first Sunday of each month at 1:30 pm in the lower level of the church, Room 3. No registration is needed to attend. Godparents are welcome to attend the workshop as well.

Should you have any questions about establishing a date to baptize your child, please contact Annette Ramos in the Parish Office at aramos@stpacc.org

Older children are incorporated into the Parish School of Religion, under the guidance of the Director of Religious Education. Adults attend the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) process by which they are both instructed and formed in the faith.
