St. Paul’s Youth Ministry
Director of Youth Ministry – Brad Romantic
Youth Ministry Mission Statement:
Our Youth Ministry’s mission is to bring the youth of our parish into a deep and personal relationship with Jesus by providing opportunities for our youth to have an authentic encounter with Christ.
Life Teen: High School Youth Ministry (Grades 9-12)
We are more than just pizza and games. (But trust us, there will still be both!)
Current data tells us that 1 in 9 Confirmed Catholics remain Catholic for life. That means that we are losing over 88% of Catholics over the span of their life. Moreover, 63% of Catholics leave the Faith by the age of 17. The bottom line is, that we need to do better. We need to evangelize and reach the lost sheep.
Our Life Nights have a specific goal in mind: To form intentional missionary disciples. We want to help our teens learn about and live a life of Christ; a life of greatness, which they feel compelled to share with everyone they meet. Using a combination of Relational ministry and mentorship from good Catholic role models on our core team, we know that we can help your teen come closer to Christ. By giving our teens authentic encounters with Christ, and then rooting them in the Faith, we will push back on these trends.

Edge Nights: Middle School Youth Ministry (Grades 6-8)
Our Middle School youth ministry meets bi-weekly on Sunday nights from 6:00-7:30 p.m. We focus on an array of sub-topics centering around one theme. Our central theme this year is Fiat. We will look at how our “yes”, specifically to the final 5 Commandments will lead us to lives of greatness. In addition to our encounters with Christ, there will always be food, games, and plenty of laughter to go around! Want to learn more? Click here!
Middle School Bible Studies
Middle School Youth are invited to join us in the Youth Ministry Center after school. We meet on Tuesday’s (6-8th Grade girls) and Thursday’s (6-8th Grade Boys) for Bible Study from 2:45-3:45 p.m. We typically focus on an upcoming Sunday reading and discuss why it matters to us today. Bring your Bibles and delve in with us!
Service Projects and Activities
Throughout the year, we make it a focus to let our youth (those in grades 6-8) come face to face with those in the Columbus area who are in need of service. We have everything from Mission trips to Christmas Caroling at Nursing Homes.
